Skill Devlopment

Based on our experience working with various Gram panchayats during COVID time, we noticed that in most of the villages, Girls are not allowed to study beyond primary school & are not sent out of their villages for advanced studies.

We partnered with Tiranga foundation (Chittorgarh, Rajasthan) to start a Skill Development program to train women in these villages to make Masks, Cane furniture, Grocery shopping bags…etc. so they can support their family’s income while staying in the security of their homes.

In addition, we provided interested women with Sewing machines, cloth, threads... etc. to support them.
