Food Kits during COVID time: We all have been a part of the havoc COVID 19 has created in our lives, businesses & finances. But it is nothing compared to what some people have had to undergo & endure during this time.

We came to know about the pathetic situation in some remote Rural parts of Rajasthan & Uttar Pradesh. with these under privileged people not having access to even the basic amenities. Because of the lockdown, these people couldn’t go to their fields/ work, had lost their jobs … & so their source of income. With their meager savings finished these families were finding it difficult to manage even a single meal everyday for the entire family.

We, alongwith some like minded organizations, partnered with Tiranga foundation (Chittorgarh) & Bharat Param Sneh Seva Sanstahan Trust (Kota, Rajasthan) to arrange for food for these families. We prepared food kits with monthly Ration of Atta, Rice, Oil, Dal, Salt, Spices, Onions, Potatoes, Soap…etc. & distributed these to around 300 families across 7 Gram Panchayats (40 Villages) during the months of May, June & July 2020.
